JOB DETAILS
A leading European manufacturer of large-format industrial 3D printers is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing R&D team.
This is a key technical role involving product development, mechanical design, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-tech, innovative environment.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing and supervising mechanical systems for advanced FFF 3D printers
- Creating and reviewing detailed technical documentation and drawings
- Developing new products and mechanical design solutions from concept to implementation
- Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments
- Participating in the entire product development cycle, from prototyping to production
- Supporting continuous product improvement and innovation initiatives
- Coordinating engineering activities and ensuring compliance with quality standards
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design
- Strong ability to read, create, and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
- Hands-on experience with workshop tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and procurement functions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – Higher technical education in Mechanics, Machine Design, or a related field
- Languages – Communicative English required
- Category B driving license
- Knowledge of 3D printing technology
- Familiarity with MES systems
